All writers start out with small time increments that build as their lives allow. I started writing with a full time job, a house & husband, and elderly parents that needed my assistance. Sometimes 10 min. was all I had. I now write full time and I'm at my comupter 8 hours or more a day, 6 days a week. It was a long road in between. Be patient with yourself. Seems more than doable–it's getting past the multiple distractions (mental or otherwise) that's the challenge. But if you can do it with 3 kids, and 2 under the age of 5, I certainly should be able to.
