Apr. 15th, 2019 One Final Breath โ€“ Final Edits

Hey yโ€™all!

I shared this photo on my FB author page and Instagram earlier today and Iโ€™m thrilled with how excited yโ€™all are about One Final Breath!

I also did a video (how goofy do I look in this thumbnail?!) with a little bit of  โ€œbehind the scenesโ€ information and a few questions for my readers.

Iโ€™d love for you to check it out and give me your thoughts!

One Final Breath releases September 3, 2019, and is available for pre-order at your favorite bookseller!

Grace and peace,

If the teaser chapter is available, I typically read it. With that being said, I donโ€™t really care for them. I donโ€™t have the patience to wait for the book release! I want to read it immediately!! Especially when it is a series!
I think Iโ€™d like the prequel chapter prior to reading the book just to give me the understanding as to what caused The animosity.
Can. Not. Wait. For the release!!!!

    • Lynn H. Blackburn says:

Thanks, Becky!!! I think this is telling me that I really need to get that prequel chapter written ASAP! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Lisa Johnson says:

For me I donโ€™t read the sneak peek of chapter 1. I want the whole story because what you write grabs my attention and I want to read the rest. Teaser chapters are helpful before reading the book.
    Praying for you and yours!
    Have a blessed Easter!

  3. Lynn!!! We absolutely want the first chapter!!! Is this even a question???

    • Lynn H. Blackburn says:

๐Ÿ™‚ Iโ€™m loving the variety of answers to this question. Everything from, โ€œNope, donโ€™t need itโ€ to โ€œGIVE ME THE FIRST CHAPTER NOW!โ€ LOL!

  4. Tim Johnson says:

I used to read teaser chapters, but not any more. I donโ€™t choose a book of authors I like based on a teaser. If there is a teaser for a book by an author Iโ€™ve not read before, I will read that to get feel for that author, and if I like it, Iโ€™ll give that author a try.
Regarding prequels, I do like to read those before the book they precede. Iโ€™d rather know the back story beforehand.

  5. Kim Potter says:

I never read the teaser chapter because it makes me even more impatient for the book release! As to a prequel chapter Iโ€™d read it before the book, just so I know why thereโ€™s animosity between the characters. I love this series and canโ€™t wait for โ€œOne Final Breathโ€!!!

  6. Lisa Hudson says:

Canโ€™t wait to read this book!!

  7. Lisa says:

I rarely read the material after the story ends.

    • Lynn H. Blackburn says:

I would say I fall into the โ€œrarelyโ€ camp myself. But sometimes I canโ€™t help it! LOL!

  8. Teaser chapters arenโ€™t for me. They are like โ€œto be continuedโ€ mini-programs which I donโ€™t start because my lifestyle doesnโ€™t always guarantee that Iโ€™ll be able to finish the series. Therefore, Iโ€™d rather wait for the whole delight instead of a tasty disappointment.
Nevertheless, a good read with a teaser chapter does tempt me now and then. Allow, the sweet tease turns into a bitter disappointment in the wait.

Loved the personal video. Looking forward to more.
    Write on!

  9. Lynn, I am so glad I was able to meet you in person at the Carolina Christian Writers Conference. You are delightful! I donโ€™t mind seeing a preview chapter, but, truthfully I try not to read them. I want to purchase the book and read the whole thing. I like โ€œblurbsโ€ about the upcoming books.

  10. Grace Ritter says:

I like to wait for the book to be released before reading the first chapter because I donโ€™t want to have to wait to read the rest of the book. Having said that, if it were available I would probably read it๐Ÿ˜€

  11. Ngina Bolton says:

I typically donโ€™t like reading 1st chapters, especially in a series. I am so impatient for the book to come out and the wait seems that much longer. I do like reading prequel chapters or books to give me a background into the history of the characters before the true story begins.

    • Lynn H. Blackburn says:

๐Ÿ™‚ I get that! I have been known not to start a series until they are all out because I love to read in one glorious binge! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Katrina says:

    So excited!
